Employer Sponsored visas

We are dedicated to assist Australian employers to sponsor overseas skilled workers, so that job positions can be filled and overseas talents can start a new chapter in their lives. Our service include:

Employer Nomination Scheme Subclass 186 visa

This visa lets skilled workers, who are nominated by their employer, live and work in Australia. The visa comprises of three streams: Direct Entry stream, Temporary Residence Transition stream (TRT stream) and labour agreement stream. The first two streams apply to most applicants.

Direct Entry Stream General Eligibility Criteria

  • you must be under 45 years of age when you apply, unless you are exempt.

  • have an occupation that is on the list of eligible skilled occupations ( MLTSSL)

  • have at least 3 years relevant work experience, unless you are exempt

  • have a positive skills assessment, unless you are exempt

  • You must have at least competent English to be granted this stream of the visa.

  • You must be nominated by an Australian employer whose business is actively and lawfully operating. You must apply for the visa within 6 months of the nomination being approved.

  • You must be paid as paid no less than an Australian worker would doing the same work in the same location, that is, the 'annual market salary rate (AMSR)', and your annual salary should be no less than the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT), which is currently AUD53,900.

  • Your employer must pay the Skilling Australians Fund (SAF) levy.

Temporary Residence Transition stream (TRT stream)

Temporary Residence Transition stream share most of general eligibility criteria with Direct Entry Stream.  Some unique requirements for the TRT stream include:

You must currently be the primary visa holder of either:

  • a subclass 457visa that was not granted under the Labour Agreement stream

  • a subclass 482 visa that was granted for an occupation on the Medium to Long-term Strategic Skills list

  • a Bridging visa A, B or C. The bridging visa must be the one you were granted after your subclass 457 or TSS visa expired.

You must be nominated by the employer who sponsored your temporary work visa. Your employer must have sponsored you to work full-time on your subclass 457 or subclass 482 visa for at least 3 of the 4 years prior to nominating you for the subclass 186 visa.

Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme subclass 494 visa

This visa lets skilled workers, who are nominated by their employer in regional Australia to live, work and study only in designated regional areas of Australia for 5 years. When satisfying relevant criteria, subclass 494 visa holders can apply for subclass 191 visa for permanent residence after 3 years from the time the 494 visa is granted.

 

General Eligibility Criteria:

 

  • You must be under 45 years of age when you apply

  • You must have an occupation that is on Medium and Long‑term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) or Regional Occupation List (ROL)

  • You must have at least 3 years relevant work experience, unless you are exempt

  • You must have a positive skills assessment, unless you are exempt

  • You must have at least competent English

  • You must be nominated by an Australian employer whose business is actively and lawfully operating. You must be employed to work in the nominated occupation and in a position within the sponsoring business or an associated entity of that business, located in a designated regional area of Australia. The sponsorship and the position must be likely to exist for 5 years.

  • You must be paid as paid no less than an Australian worker would doing the same work in the same location, that is, the 'annual market salary rate (AMSR)', and your annual salary should be no less than AUD 53,900.

  • Your employer must pay the Skilling Australians Fund (SAF) levy.

Temporary Skill Shortage visa​(subclass 482)

This temporary visa lets an employer sponsor a suitably skilled worker to fill a position for two to four years. There is no age limit for visa applicant and the English skill requirement is minimum.

The visa comprises of three streams: short-term stream, medium-term stream
and labour agreement stream. The first two streams apply to most applicants.


❏ For Short-term stream applicant, you must be sponsored to work in an occupation listed​on the short-term skilled occupations list (STSOL), and you will generally be allowed to work in Australia for up to 2 years for your sponsor.
❏ For Medium-term stream applicant, you must be sponsored to work in an occupation listed on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) or the Regional Occupation List (ROL), and you will be allowed to work in Australia for your sponsor for up to 4 years.
After working for the Australian sponsor for 3 years, subclass 482 (Medium-term stream) visa holder is eligible to apply for subclass 186 visa (Temporary Residence Stream) for permanent residency.

 

General Eligibility Criteria:

 

  • You must be under 45 years of age when you apply

  • You must have an occupation that is on the list of eligible skilled occupations

  • You must have at least 2 years relevant work experience in the nominated occupation or a related field.

  • You must have relevant skills, qualifications and employment background to perform occupation. You may be required to have a skills assessment to demonstrate this.

  • You must have English language proficiency equal to IELTS overall 5.0 and at least 4.5 in each of the test components.

  • You must be nominated by an Australian employer whose business is actively and lawfully operating.

  • You must be paid no less than the annual market salary rate (AMSR), and your annual salary should be no less than AUD 53,900.

  • Your employer must pay the Skilling Australians Fund (SAF) levy.

  • You and your family members who apply for the visa meet health and character requirements. You and your family members must maintain adequate health cover for the whole of your intended period of stay if you are granted this visa
